Due to COVID-19

The Directors of the Fredericksburg Brass Institute have been closely examining the progression of the COVID-19 epidemic, it's impact on the country, and particularly Virginia. Due to our concern for the safety of our participants, in addition to the extension of the Governor of Virginia's stay-at-home order through June 10th, we have decided to cancel this summer's installment of the Fredericksburg Brass Institute.

For what was sure to be the best version of FredBrass yet, it is extremely disappointing to have to postpone this summer's festivities. However, we think it of utmost importance to take every precaution in keeping the students, faculty, and artists out of harms way.

As for how to make up for this incredible week that is now put on hold until next summer, we are in the process of developing online masterclasses or Q&A's that might be of interest to our participants. If there is anything you might want to hear about, please let us know and we'll do our best to have our directors and faculty address it, if possible.

Stay safe, and stay healthy. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
