Dr. Jeb Wallace serves as Assistant Professor of Horn at Wichita State University and Principal horn with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra. He is also a member of the Wichita Brass Quintet and Lieurance Woodwind Quintet. Wallace has performed with many professional orchestras including the American Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Utah Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Richmond Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Boise Philharmonic, Louisiana Philharmonic, Dallas Wind Symphony, and many others.
Jason Crafton is associate professor of trumpet and music faculty chair at Virginia Tech. He has performed as soloist and chamber musician in China, Greece, and across the United States. He is a member of the Charlottesville Opera Orchestra and has performed with the Dallas Opera, the Des Moines Metropolitan Opera, and the Dallas Wind Symphony.
Mike Hall was appointed professor of trombone/euphonium and brass choir director at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2006. He served as professor of trombone and member of the Kansas Brass Quintet at the University of Kansas 2000-2006, and at Eastern Michigan University 1995-2000 where he was lecturer of low brass and director of the EMU Jazz Ensemble. Since 1998 he has served as Literature Reviews Editor for the International Trombone Association Journal.
Joanna Ross Hersey
A native Vermonter, tuba and euphonium soloist Joanna Ross Hersey has produced two solo albums, O quam mirabilis (2010) and Zigzags (2015), featuring music by composers including Hildegard von Bingen and Libby Larson in combination with her own compositions. Joanna is President of the International Women’s Brass Conference, Associate Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and a Yamaha and Parker Mouthpiece Performing Artist.
